The movie that serves as the finale to the harem story premieres on May 20
Kodoani.com – TBS Animation began streaming the trailer on Thursday for the anime film Eiga Gotōbun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie).
A special show featuring the cast will premiere on Anime Live Channel on May 22 at 8 p.m. JST.
Merchandise for sale at the theater includes booklets, with a full-color 80-page booklet featuring interviews.

The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie opens on May 20. The film will serve as the epilogue to the story. Its premiere time will exceed 130 minutes.

The Quintessential Quintuplets – The house has 5 fairies tells the story of Futaro Uesugi, a high school student who is academically gifted but has no friends and is financially deprived. In dire need of money, Uesugi enrolled as a tutor to a wealthy Nakano family and five identical daughters; The compassionate Ichika, the tough Nino, the quiet Miku, the outgoing Yotsuba and finally, the stern maknae, Itsuki. In the opening chapter, the story reveals that Uesugi will eventually marry one of the five sisters, and leaves readers guessing throughout the series as to who he will end up marrying.
Negi Haruba launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2017 and ended the series in February 2020.
The series is getting a new bonus of chapter 122 + 1 that takes place after the original ending. The manga will be part of a special volume 14.5, which will be distributed as a gift to those who attended the film. This year’s 25th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen magazine will publish chapter 122 + 1 on May 18.
