Kodoani.com – An event for Tokyo Reverger of Ken Wakui announced on Saturday that the anime will get a new season that includes an arc “Seiya Kessen” (“”Christmas Showdown“) of the manga.
The event also revealed that the franchise will have a mobile game for iOS and Android. Game staff will reveal more information at a later date.
The first anime premiered on April 10 and has aired for 24 episodes. Crunchyroll was already streaming the anime as it aired and is also streaming the English dub.
Koichi Hatsumi (Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I – The Egg of the King, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, Deadman Wonderland, Gangsta.) directed the anime at LIDEN FILMS, and Yasuyuki Muto (Basilisk , Deadman Wonderland, Sengoku Basara – Samurai Kings.) is in charge of the series’ script. Kenichi Ohnuki (Golden Kamuy, Gundam Build Fighters) and Keiko Ōta (Ace Attorney, Hyakko) are designing the characters. Satoki Iida is directing the sound, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Children of the Whales, Dr. Stone, Jujutsu Kaisen) is composing the music.

Following the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend back from high school, Hinata Tachibana, has passed away. The only girlfriend he’s ever had has just been killed by a gang of gangsters known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a shabby apartment with thin walls, and his boss six years younger than him treats him like an idiot. Seven Seas Entertainment will publish the manga in a 2-in-1 omnibus paperback edition starting May 2022.
Wakui launched the manga in Weekly Shounen magazine in March 2017, and the manga is still ongoing.
