1. Hisuian Qwilfish
Upon arriving in the land of Hisui, Qwilfish was stripped of the Water-type and modified into the dual-type Dark & Poison. It not only changes color to match the Dark system, but also adds a new form of evolution that is quite fancy for fans of the Legends Arceus game.
After casting Strong Style Barb Barrage at least 20 times, Qwilfish will evolve into Overqwil. Its shape is quite bizarre with sharp spikes surrounding a cosmic black hole. Although controversial because of its odd design, Overqwil has only one weakness, the Ground type, and it has the added benefit of being immune to the Psychic system and being resistant to four other systems.
2. Hisuian Samurott
Unlike the other versions of Hisui, Samurott of Hisui evolved much more easily. The new design is added with the Dark system and nothing changes too abruptly in terms of shape. The change is small, but enough for fans to feel satisfied with this new version.
However, with the addition of the Dark system, the new Samurott encountered more natural enemies, compared to the original when there were 5 counter systems, only against 2 systems. However, the Hisui version of Samurott has been adjusted quite a lot, but only has better speed stats, not necessarily much stronger.
3. Voltorb & Electrode
The Hisui region’s Voltorb & Electrode is a prime example of how the new local Pokémon are beautifully designed and fit the game’s theme, but in-game it’s a different matter. The Grass/Electric combo is immune to Ground, but is countered by 4 other systems. However, in terms of attack, this duo is much more interesting because there are many new skills to use.
4. Lilligant
Lilligant is the second Noble Pokémon to introduce Legends Arceus and add a Fighting type. This evaluation addition helps Lilligant add a significant amount of attack stats clamped with a bunch of new skill attacks.
Lilligant of Hisui is simpler than the original, but is considered to be presented perfectly and beautifully as per the plot. In order to evolve Lilligant, the player needs Petilil and evolves it with a sunstone.
5. Decidueye
Decidueye Hisui also caused controversy when it introduced a new unique design and the addition of a new system. However, it is also considered to be suitable for classic Japanese cultural features – the main theme of Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
The new Decidueye is a dual-type Grass & Fighting and has revised attack and defense stats. Unfortunately, Decidueye’s version of Hisui is no longer immune to any system, giving it more weaknesses.
