Academy
There is a funny fact that the Academy race has a lot of strong units, dominant mains, but when this squad is extremely weak. Names like Yone, Lux, Katarina are all chess pieces that possess the ability to deal extremely terrible damage. Meanwhile, Yuumi is considered the strongest unit in the Teamfight Tactics when it can bring too much power no matter what formation it is played in. However, this also can’t cover up the somewhat “dead” effect of the Academy race in the current meta.
Yone is very strong in the Challenger team but is quite weak when used in the Academy lineup
Basically, in order for Academy units to become strong and deal a lot of damage, they must be able to continuously launch attacks and buff each other’s attack stats. However, at 4-6 points of Academy generals, you can rarely bring into the lineup the high points of the Scholar system. Moreover, the attack stats that the Academy effect buffs each other is not too large, so it doesn’t make a difference in damage. Perhaps Riot needs to redo this stat buff method to make the Academy lineup more trusted.
Empire
Needless to say, the Empire lineup around Samira is mainly one of the biggest victims of 11.24. If in patch 11.23, rolling Samira 3 stars will help you get into the top 4 is quite simple, this has become much more difficult in 11.24. With only a single-target damage champion, it is difficult for Samira to defeat the tank with Sions and Galio quickly.
The Empire lineup with the main Samira is “losing” in the current meta
It is this weakness that also causes Samira to have another problem of being too easy to lose against mobile or well-protected mains. This piece is almost certain to lose when facing Kai’Sa players or teams with Lux and Jhin as the main force in the backline. As a result, the Empire team with Samira was gradually “abandoned” by gamers because they were too heavily countered by many squads. I think Riot should slightly improve Samira’s damage ability to make this squad more “breathable” in the new version.
Gang – Assassin
In fact, the Assassin system is not weak if not to say this is a team-comp counter lineup in the current meta. However, the advice is that you should not combine Assassins with Gangs in the current meta when it has a rather inferior effect compared to other races. The reason is because when reaching high milestones, the benefit that the Gang brings is quite low, as a result this race is often “out of breath” at the end of the game.
Instead of increasing the bonus stats, the Gang effect at high points is towards the whole squad enjoying a bit of the stats this race provides.
If Riot intends to edit the Gang clan, it’s best for them to let this race’s stats increase according to the activation milestones along with helping the whole squad get that stat (7 champion milestone). This will partially solve the “short of breath” of the Gang at the end of the game. In addition, the main units like Shaco, Akali will be more comfortable when this damage when their resistance is significantly increased.
