Jhin – Bodyguard
If you notice, the Kai’Sa – Idol lineup is a huge counter to the team-comp revolving around Jhin. Normally, you would arrange Wizard units around Jhin to protect this unit, but this makes them the target of Galio, Sion’s control. The two giant units themselves are not afraid of Braum and Orianna’s controllability. Meanwhile, Kai’Sa with Demon Letter Morello will make the healing ability of Wizard units quite weak.
Jhin – Bodyguard promises to get a lot stronger in patch 12.1 when hard counter gets heavy nerf
Remember that even with such a heavy counter, team Jhin – Bodyguard is still in the top meta of 11.24. So when the Kai’Sa – Idol lineup was heavily nerfed in patch 12.1, there was no reason to stop Jhin – Bodyguard from leading the meta. Moreover, all the strongest elements of this squad are not modified, Orianna even has a maximum mana reduction. Therefore, it is possible that Jhin – Bodyguard will become a “spam” lineup continuously in the upcoming 12.1 patch.
Empire
Buffs, buffs and buffs are what most accurately describe the Empire squad in the Tactics Arena in version 12.1. First we need to mention that the Empire Seals, Assassins will now give Talon instead of Swain. Next is Talon’s base attack speed buff, which helps this unit deal extremely strong damage in the early game. This makes the Empire squad can get a series of wins very easily at the beginning of the game when owning a 2-star Talon early.

With such a strong and comprehensive buff, it will not be too surprising when the Empire team enters the list of the strongest squad in the next version.
Inventor
It seems that the Inventor squad is a bit weak in version 11.24, Riot has strongly buffed this team-comp in the first update of 2022. First of all, we need to mention that Tech Bear is at 5 House. Phat Minh has a strong buff to his basic defense. This is a very important factor because most Inventor units in the middle of the game are ranged champions (except Singed). Therefore, the more “buffalo” Tech Bear will help this squad to stay in the fight and deal much better damage.
Both Seraphine and the Inventor clan were heavily buffed in patch 12.1
Next we need to mention that Heimerdinger and Seraphine (2 main units of the Inventor lineup) are buffed. With Heimerdinger, the unit already deals damage very well, but with a range of only 3 cells, this piece often has automatic phases that move to the front row and get defeated unfortunately. With the extra range buff, Heimerdinger will no longer move like that. Regarding Seraphine, the unit is simply too strong with both damage and mana buffs.
