Yun Jin is the latest 4-star character that has just been released by Genshin Impact in version 2.4. Yun Jin’s appearance has been revealed from many previous versions, making her one of the most anticipated characters in Genshin Impact.
In gameplay, Yun Jin is a support character, but her skill set can make many players confused and do not know how to take advantage. Unlike Bennett or Xingqiu, Yun Jin is more of a support for basic attack damage based on DEF. Since not all characters in Genshin Impact have strengths with normal attacks, Yun Jin can only support certain characters.
1. Yoimiya
Yoimiya is probably the 5-star character that best suits Yun Jin’s support ability at the moment. When she was released, this girl selling fireworks was heavily “underrated” for many reasons. One of them was because she couldn’t attack large areas but only one target at a time.
Yoimiya’s kit relies heavily on attack. After activating her elemental skill, her basic attack deals Fire damage. The appearance of Yun Jin with the usual attack support skill set more people’s attention to Yoimiya. Some people even think that Yun Jin’s buff was created for Yoimiya.
2. Childe
One of Childe’s popular playstyles is using his E skill as the main source of damage. After using this skill, Childe will switch from archery (ranged) to a melee weapon. After switching to melee combat, Childe’s attacks deal water damage and grant water seals continuously, thus taking advantage of Yun Jin’s buffs. If combined with Kazuha, which can suck monsters and reduce resistance, Tartaglia can become an extremely powerful DPS.
3. Noelle
Noelle is a free 4-star character that any player can easily get at the beginning of the game. Noelle’s abilities are also very diverse and can be extremely powerful if built properly. Being able to both restore HP, create shields and deal massive damage, Noelle usually doesn’t need many characters to support her in battle.
Noelle’s Rage focuses on her basic attacks. After rage, Noelle’s basic attack deals Elemental Damage. Therefore, Yun Jin can completely buff Noelle when both use fury skills at the same time. However, Noelle’s attack speed is quite slow, which is probably the biggest drawback when using a combination of these two characters.
4. Diluc
In the first days of the game’s release, Diluc was still considered one of the strongest DPS that everyone should own. Although it has been a bit underwhelming with the appearance of other DPS that are more meta, Diluc is still popular with many people and has great potential.
Diluc can use basic attacks interspersed with elemental skills to create high damage. Diluc’s gameplay is indispensable for normal attacks, especially after the Q skill is activated, Diluc will attack normally to deal Fire elemental damage for a certain time. Combined with the Yun Jin buff, the damage Diluc generates can be greatly increased with just his basic attack.
5. Kaeya
With Kaeya and Yun Jin, players will have to build in a more “evil” way. Kaeya is often used as a Sub DPS and support, but can also be built in the DPS direction. This comes with many caveats and risks, because Kaeya is not a physical damage-oriented character, and players will need to invest quite a bit to turn a duck into a swan in this case.
In the past, many players have noticed that Kaeya’s basic attack skill is higher than other sword characters, even higher than some 5-star characters. Many people started trying to build physical damage Kaeya with basic damage based on basic attacks. Combined with Yun Jin, Kaeya can optimize her normal attack damage. Besides, Kaeya’s basic attacks are quite fast, so she can make the most of Yun Jin’s buff time.
