Fans of the series will likely be similarly moved when they remember that they’ll have to wait an extra week for the series’ next episode: episode 4 of the anime’s second season has been pre-streamed until November 7. to allow Japanese television to cover the country’s upcoming elections. As a result, all subsequent episodes in the Mugen Train season will also have their release dates pushed back one week from their original planned airing date. The delay will not affect the release of the sequel to the Amusement Park arc, which is still scheduled to begin on December 5 with an hour-long special.

The second part of Demon Slayer premiered on October 10 with a brand new episode that tells the original story of how the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, made her way to the demon-controlled Mugen Train. The remaining episodes in the season are made from remastered footage from the 2020 film Mugen Train, but Ufotable has promised that 70 new animated scenes will be added throughout the story. Once that part is over, the all-new and highly-anticipated part of the Amusement Park will begin. This season 2 will adapt one of the most critically acclaimed storylines from Koyoharu Gotouge’s original manga, telling the story of Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, as he investigates a series of disappearances that may be related to the devil in the red light district of the city .
