Mapple officially joined TSM, “following” his former teammate SwordArt with the ambition to revive the North American “giant” after a disastrous season.
During the past few seasons, the most traditional team in North American League of Legends, TSM, has spent a lot of money to reform its roster. Typically, the acquisition of a SwordArt support player with a contract of up to millions of dollars. This is also considered one of the most “huge” investments by TSM ever. In addition, TSM also decided to change the coaching staff to create a new way of playing for the team.
However, after those efforts to change, TSM’s performance in the LCS has not improved at all. The culmination of this defeat was the fact that TSM had to stop in the top 9 position of the 2022 LCS Spring Split. A very bad achievement for the team that is considered the representative face of North American League of Legends.
TSM Spring 2022 roster is a disappointment
Therefore, once again TSM decided to change their roster by recruiting talented players from other regions. Most recently, a “blockbuster” has been activated by TSM, according to the announcement, the “prodigy” of Taiwanese League of Legends, Mapple, will officially join TSM, “following in the footsteps” of his former teammate SwordArt.
It is known that since leaving Flash Wolves, Mapple has moved to play for the LPL region for a long time in the “color” of Suning, LNG Esports. At one point, this mid laner returned to PCS to play for PSG Talon and also achieved some success.
Mapple joins TSM to complete the Summer 2022 lineup
TSM’s decision to recruit Mapple surprised many fans. Because before that TSM also had to accept defeat in the “gambling” called SwordArt, now they continue to choose a Taiwanese player. Although not specifically announced, TSM certainly offered a “huge” contract no less than SwordArt to be able to successfully recruit Mapple, especially when this is an extremely important mid laner role.
Mapple joins TSM, ambition to revive the big LCS
For Apple, this is a great opportunity. During the last Spring 2022 period, Mapple had a bad performance in the “color” of Anyone’s Legend, this team ended the LPL season with 13th place, near the bottom of the rankings. This is quite unfortunate for a talented player like Mapple, so the LCS will be a new “playground” for Mapple to reaffirm its name.
Information about the LCS will be updated, please stay tuned for more.
