However, the important thing is that SGB is still a young squad and players like BeanJ or Taki have only participated in a tournament under the VCS framework for the second time. These names will still be able to play the role of “challengers” in the upcoming Spring 2022. However, to do this, coach Ren and his students need to get back to their best form soon and prove to the audience that the last Winter VCS was just an accident.
Saigon Buffalo had a bad Winter VCS and they are expected to return to the challenger image like in Spring 2021 at the beginning of the year.
Team Secret
As one of the teams that is considered to have a famous professional operating mechanism at VCS, once ranked 3rd in Spring 2021 and defeated the defending champion VCS – CERBERUS Esports in the Spring playoffs series, but TS did not I was myself in the last Winter. Needless to say, for GAM, finishing 2nd is really an unacceptable achievement, especially when their goal is always the VCS championship and the places to attend international tournaments. Possessing a strong lineup, Levi is considered the best jungle in VCS, but GAM not only won the runner-up position of VCS last Winter, but also lost to CES all 3 confrontations.
Although “God Dog” is very strong, it is undeniable that GAM’s players have also dropped in performance. Kiaya became seriously ill before the tournament officially started, Levi or Kati also lost their performance and also suffered from psychological stress while Sty1e or Divkid could not keep their stability throughout. When the team’s bright spot was Support Bie, GAM’s defeat was not difficult to understand at all.
GAM will definitely only aim for the championship and they will be looking forward to the new season
But surely, the yellow – black jersey team has learned a lot after a tournament that was not as successful as expected. In the new season, their goal will still be the championship. And certainly, the GAM Board of Directors as well as the players who have fought for many years at VCS understand what they need to do to regain the position of the number 1 team in the Vietnamese LoL village that is so familiar to them.
