Attractive life simulation role-playing game inspired by Stardew Valley, Fable, Rimworld and The Sims releases a new Trailer.
Publisher V Publishing recently shared a new trailer for Mirthwood, an upcoming role-playing game inspired by famous names like Stardew Valley and Fable. Mirthwood first appeared last year and this promising indie game has excited audiences, attracting more than 100,000 wishlists on Steam. Although the list of games similar to Stardew Valley is growing longer and more diverse, Mirthwood sets itself apart by combining RPG mechanics, a large open-world world with a medieval setting. Of course, many other games in the cozy genre will have one or two of the above elements, but very few of them exploit the setting like Mirthwood. Previously, developer Bad Ridge Games introduced various mechanics such as RPG elements and exploration of Mirthwood and the latest trailer revealed the farming aspect of the game.
Mirthwood not only revolves around farming but is also full of exploration and role-playing. Players can freely choose one of the three above aspects to experience or invest time in all three based on personal preferences. Mirthwood will offer diverse options for all players, from gardening enthusiasts to exploration enthusiasts. The game from developer Bad Ridge Games promises something darker and more mysterious than other games in the same genre. The muted atmosphere and darker color palette may not be for everyone, but these elements certainly help create Mirthwood's unique appeal. Even the battles in the game seem more engaging. Mirthwood is expected to release on PC in the third quarter of 2024.
