According to the publisher, Apex Legends is their most popular licensed intellectual property, thanks to a huge push by e-sports. EA Games also adjusts game content as necessary to better suit players. Apex Legends is known and appreciated by players in battle royale mode. The publisher reiterates their commitment to making Apex Legends the cleanest and least cheating game possible. In July 2022, the company announced that it had continuously updated the feature to “improve” the game’s anti-cheat system.
The popularity of Apex Legends is known on live streaming platforms. In addition, the mobile version launch is also achieving considerable success. Gamers quickly embraced the mobile version and appreciated the changes to mobile compatibility.
In addition to Apex, FIFA and The Sims also proved to be one of EA’s successful IPs. The publisher reports that players have played 1.4 billion hours in The Sims 4 and 14 billion hours played in FIFA. Battlefield 2042 isn’t too volatile with 117.7 million hours of playtime weekly.
