Amazon has been gradually increasing its presence in the mobile game market. Most recently, ad solutions company AudioMob partnered with Amazon Web Services to bring a new in-game audio advertising demand platform to mobile game developers and distributors.
More specifically, AudioMob has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver a new in-game audio advertising needs platform. Using the AudioMob advertising platform, brands can upload mp3s and images compressed at approximately 35KB through internal code hosted on AWS.
Advertisers reach users based on age, gender, location, language and more. The process works by opening ad slots in the game and multiple advertisers bidding for an opportunity to connect with a community of players.
AudioMob has raised $14 million in Series A funding. Currently, the company is valued at $110 million.
