Jujutsu Kaisen has been on the sidelines in the fight against the strongest for several weeks now. The series is currently focusing on Kenjaku vs Takaba. The comedian has gone on stage and is focusing on realizing his dream.
Fumihiko Takaba has proven that in terms of curse techniques, he is stronger than Kenjaku. However, the user of the ancient curse is a demanding customer, always looking to turn things in his favor. Kenjaku finds a loophole in Takaba’s technique and uses it to his advantage.
Takaba’s techniques are useful as long as he is confident in himself, so Kenjaku begins a battle of wits and attacks Takaba ruthlessly. As the comedian finally regained his faith in the recent Chap, Jujutsu Kaisen delayed Chapter 242. Let’s dig deeper to find out why.
Why is Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 242 delayed?
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 242 will be released on November 19 at 12am JST. According to the usual schedule, Gege Akutami takes a break every three weeks. The manga released Chapters 239, 240 and 241 for three consecutive weeks.
So the mangaka decided to rest on the fourth week. The previous break took place after Chapter 238, which ended with Yuji and Hiromi jumping onto the battlefield to fight Sukuna. However, after fans waited two weeks for the battle to begin, the story switched POV and focused on Kenjaku.
With current developments, it is unlikely that Chapter 242 will mention the fight against the strongest. Takaba finally regained his confidence and wanted to make Kenjaku laugh. However, the villain only focuses on breaking his spirit.
The recent chapter is mostly a flashback focusing on Takaba’s dreams and struggles as a comedian. He finally got the answer to the question “why is he a comedian”. He wants to defeat Kenjaku, but living up to his pride as a comedian takes priority. Takaba is strong enough to rival Satoru Gojo, but even he has difficulty facing Kenjaku.
