In the final installments of Attack on Titan, we can see that: protecting the people of Eldia has never been Eren’s top priority.
Tremor has seriously affected the peace of countless people. Even the homeland of Eldia that Eren protected was no exception. But he doesn’t care about that anymore. Immediately after capturing the First Ancestor, he immediately summoned all of them into Coordinates. He announced that he was going to deploy the Earthquake on a global scale. All the city walls were brought down at once. Many people died at the feet of the Wall Titans. But he doesn’t care about that. Now, he would sacrifice everything for his own “freedom”.
Those who were trampled must have included the humans living on Paradis . island
Even his old friends Eren did not leave. They’ve mostly been by his side since the early days of Attack on Titan. And now what do you do with them? Leaving them to grapple with the Titans Zeke created? Either way, Eldia technology has advanced, Lightning Spear already exists. But this is not easy. Human vs Titan is never a fair battle. Why do you have to be so “evil”? He should have been able to stop them from attacking the village with the power of the First Ancestor. Some people find it normal, but Game4V alone sees a lot of contradictions.
Considering the above, Game4V believes that protecting Eldia has never been a priority for Eren. But perhaps, Armin’s view is the opposite. He is intelligent, thinking, but mostly emotional. Deep in his heart, he still believes in his friend very much. He deceived himself that the Vibration Chan was activated to bring peace to his homeland. But perhaps, everything was broken ever since he saw all three walls fall. By his intuition, he deduced that: his old friend is looking for revenge on life. And it is ready to genocide all of humanity just to “cool” its immature brain.
Eren was never really the hero of Attack on Titan. Initially, the only reason for him to move forward was to bathe in the Titan’s blood. After the time skip, he didn’t know where he “loaded” into extreme nationalism. He thought that the Eldians of Paradis were the only creatures that should exist. Out there, all must die. Even if those are the “compatriots” living out there. He had never thought about the suffering of the people the Marley government had detained even once. And maybe even the Yeagerists are nothing to him.
But apparently, protecting Eldia had never been the primary goal for him. Even the closest people are not spared, what are the people still in Eren’s eyes?
On his journey, he has “embedded” in countless terrible things. Beating Armin, mistreating Mikasa, manipulating Grisha and deceiving Zeke, he hasn’t done it yet. It was obvious that Eren had gone too far from his “goal” of protecting the Eldians. Now, as long as the world outside collapses, he will pay whatever it is. Even if it means dying at the hands of an old comrade (he didn’t disable the rest of the Titan Shifters).
