Disney’s new superhero She-Hulk has helped spark the wave of female bodybuilders.
Fafa Araujo, 37, goes to the gym up to 3 hours a day, 6 days a week. As of September, she has nearly half a million followers on Instagram, all of whom love Araujo’s muscular physique.
Araujo is a Brazilian native who currently lives in Chicago (USA). She said to keep her body as toned as it is now, she must have “dedication, consistency and motivation”.
“I listen to my body – if I need a day off, I take a day off, but if I don’t need a day off and I feel good, I exercise every day,” Araujo told Jam Press.
Araujo first exercised when he was 11 years old. “I still remember when I was in school,” she said. After coming home, I clean the house, then help my mother, and then exercise.”
By the time she was 15, Araujo said she had “developed a nice figure with thick legs”. She claims to have never thought about giving up her high-intensity exercise regimen.
The muscular beauty also revealed that she eats 7 meals a day to provide energy for her body. On Instagram, Araujo often shows off her toned abs and strong legs.
Araujo hasn’t revealed whether she’s interested in pursuing a career in acting, but surely many fans are comparing Araujo to the main character in the new Disney+ series: She-Hulk.
Actress Tatiana Maslany plays lawyer Jennifer Walters, who accidentally gets the Hulk’s blood and is given the ability to transform into a 2-meter-tall She-Hulk.
