Indie developer Game Science has revealed the release date of Black Myth: Wukong via a stop-motion video celebrating the year of the rabbit. Fans finally know how long they’ll have to wait before they get to experience Black Myth: Wukong and the game’s fantasy world filled with mythical creatures.
Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game based on the novel Journey to the West, about a Buddhist monk’s pilgrimage from China to the western regions of Central Asia and India. During his journey, the monk encountered many creatures inspired by Chinese mythology, including Sun Wukong. This is the main character of Black Myth: Wukong, carrying on his mission to fight against various enemies to help the monk reach the West.
To celebrate the Lunar New Year and mark the beginning of the Year of the Rabbit, Game Science has released a stop-motion video starring bunnies playing Black Myth: Wukong. This funny video shows a rabbit who has been waiting for years to play Black Myth: Wukong, having his device ready, but the game is still unreleased. The video ends with the reveal of Black Myth: Wukong’s release time being summer 2024
