The latest statistics on the number of times Riot had to fix bugs for champions in League of Legends really surprised the community.
After the incident of Neeko having a serious bug in the game and being locked on a global scale, the League of Legends fan community tried to figure out which champions have caused Riot the most headaches to fix. And the results have brought quite a few surprises.
Leading in the number of bugs is Shaco, according to statistics from the League of Legends wiki page, the game balance team has 55 fixes for this champion throughout the game’s history. This is something not everyone notices because Shaco is not a champion that is used too commonly. However, the complex mechanics from Shaco’s unique set of moves have caused trouble quite a few times.
In second place is Yasuo with 53 fixes while Rengar and Sion tied for third with 49 times. The remaining champions among the most frequent game mistakes are Teemo, Master Yi, Lux, Sylas, Ezreal and Twsted Fate.
However, when it comes to champions who make extremely bad mistakes and cause Riot to have a headache for a long time, it is Viego or Mordekaiser. These are all champions that were once dubbed the “game bug king” with a series of unexpected interactions of the design department.
Viego is a champion that was released at the beginning of the 2021 season, but it took 7 or 8 consecutive versions for the Black King to be included in the professional tournaments. On the other hand, because his age is too short compared to the above generals, Viego is not in the top “most error-prone generals” and it is not too difficult to understand.
On the other hand, the champions that make the least mistakes include Olaf, Tristana (7 times), Tryndamere (6 times) and Zac (4 times). These are mostly generals with simple skill sets that don’t have much interaction with allies, terrain or any other objects.
