Anime studio Yostar Pictures and company director Kengo Saito announced on Twitter Monday that the studio has been given the green light to produce an original golf-themed anime titled Sorairo Utility (Sky Blue Utility).
Saitō said Yostar Pictures will announce the staff and cast at a later date. Saitō said, “The golf anime that I’ve said over and over again that I want to do, I’m actually allowed to do it. I’m very happy.”
Yostar established Yostar Pictures studio in 2020. Yostar CEO Hengda Lee is the representative director of Yostar Pictures. Arch, a Tokyo-based company that assisted in the production of the Promare animated film, established the studio and is managing the studio. The studio announced on Sunday that it is producing an anime series for the Arknights game. The company also animates Azur Lane: Slow Ahead!.
