According to newly confirmed information, the official American wrestling game of All Elite Wrestling will be called AEW Fight Forever.
As confirmed by recent reports, the console and PC platforms of the AEW Fight Forever title were officially announced on Wednesday. Two new American wrestlers included in the game were also revealed today. The videos below provide a first look at the character models and gameplay footage for Nyla Rose and Kris Statlander. In a report last month by wrestling website Fightful Select claimed that the game could be released as soon as September.
The report cites an AEW source, who stated that while internal plans are yet to be finalized and there’s still a lot of work to be done on the game, it looks like September is supposed to be September. perfect release timing and under review.
It is the debut game for WWE’s emerging rival that is being developed by Yuke, a Japanese studio formerly responsible for the WWE Smackdown / WWE 2K series of American wrestling games from 2000 to 2018.
In the game announcement in November 2020 it was revealed that Hideyuki Iwashita, director of WWF classic wrestling games No Mercy and Def Jam Vendetta, will also be involved in the AEW title. And it was confirmed last September that Owen Hart, who died in a crash at a WWF show in 1999, would appear as a playable wrestler in the game. The game will mark Hart’s first appearance in a wrestling game since Showdown: Legends of Wrestling in 2004.
