The fall of yellow leaves has come, and what's better than sipping a glass of hot milk in front of the screen is the following great anime series.
In the fall, the best anime of the year have finally arrived. Video game fans may lavish praise on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, but if you're a true otaku, these are the ultimate anime you can't miss this fall.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
If this list did not mention Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, perhaps many otaku would not know about the presence of this great anime series shown on Netflix. Adapted from the role-playing blockbuster Cyberpunk 2077, Edgerunners was so successful that it saved Cyberpunk 2077 from a disastrous launch and reached 20 million copies sold.
Cyberpunk Edgerunner takes place in a fantasy world, set primarily in Night City. Our main character is David, a boy from the lower class of society. After some incidents David joins a gang and becomes an outlaw 'Edgerunners' to overthrow the injustices of society.
Because the plot in Edgerunner takes place before all the main events in Cyberpunk 2077, the fact that viewers do not play the game does not affect the experience of this movie in any way.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has completed 10 episodes of season 1, and is now available on Netflix.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War
Even though it's only been two episodes, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War (Vietnamese title: Death Mission: Thousand Year Blood War) has stagnated at number 1 on the prestigious MyAnimeList chart. This is enough to prove the undeniable attraction of an anime adapted from a once-popular shonen manga.
As you know, the main character in the Bleach series is Kurosaki Ichigo, a teenager with the ability to see souls. His life changes rapidly by the sudden appearance of a Shinigami (death god) named Kuchiki Rukia, who comes to the human world to find and destroy Hollows – very dangerous lost souls.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is an adaptation of the final arc of the series of the same name, so you must watch the anime first or read the manga to understand the content and plot. Of course, Bleach is already a classic manga on par with One Piece or Naruto, so the 45+ episodes shown on Disney+ certainly cannot be ignored by the 'wibu lords'.
Blue Lock
The biggest football festival on the planet FIFA World Cup 2022 is coming very close and there is no anime about 22 men fighting for a ball on the field, which is really strange. So how great is it that we have Blue Lock which just premiered in early October on Crunchyroll with a planned schedule of 24 episodes for this season.
Based on the manga of the same name by author duo Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, Blue Lock (Vietnamese title: Striker No. 1) follows a few of the 300 most talented young players in Japan competing to win. became the best striker of the Japanese Football Federation.
But to become the only one, young players must participate in a grueling training course to become the best called the Blue Lock program. Only the winner can become a striker for the Japanese national team, the rest will be banned from playing forever.
What makes this anime attractive is the combination of supernatural elements in sports (like Kuroko no Basket) and promoting the importance of ego in each person. It can be said that this is an anime that is completely opposite to any team sports anime you have ever known.
Chainsaw Man
The era of bright shonen series is gradually passing away, giving way to dark manga, the most typical of which is Chainsaw Man. This manga follows a young boy named Denji who, due to circumstances, has to fuse with a small chainsaw demon in hell to become a half-human, half-demon named Chainsaw Man.
The point that makes the series attractive is that Chainsaw Man opens up an infinite variety of demons, fighting methods, and the lingering mystery in the story line, making you unable to take your eyes off the screen.
Adapted into an anime and starting to premiere on Crunchyroll from October 11, Chainsaw Man (Vietnamese title: Demon Hunter) makes fans restless waiting for each episode and the appeal of this anime cannot be underestimated. : ranked Top 2 on MyAnimeList after only two released episodes.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury
The Mobile Suit Gundam franchise has returned for the first time since the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans released in 2015. With the name The Witch from Mercury (Vietnamese title: The Witch from Mercury), the part This new film is set completely independently of any previous film in the Gundam series.
The Witch from Mercury follows Suletta Mercury, who transfers from her home planet Mercury to the Asticassia School of Technology with the goal of becoming a gundam pilot. This is also the first film in the Gundam franchise to have a female main character.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury began airing in early October but it is unclear how many episodes there will be.
Mob Psycho 100 (Season 3)
Mob Psycho 100 returned with season 3 in early October, but it could also be the last season of the series adapted from the book of the same name. After defeating the super villain Toichiro Suzuki and the terrorist organization Claw, the boy Mob stands at the crossroads of maturity. He had to answer questions like what kind of person he wanted to become or what job he wanted to pursue. Accompanying Mob will still be teacher Arataka Reigen and this 8th grade boy's friends.
And if you don't know, Mob Psycho 100 was composed and illustrated by One himself, different from One-Punch Man which he composed but illustrated by Yusuke Murata because initially One was just a freelance artist. Stories posted on the web for free for fun.
Adapted into an anime, although still retaining the author's rudimentary original drawings, Mob Psycho 100 will not disappoint viewers with its extremely impressive animation and sound. The action scenes are displayed extremely perfectly, the creative panning shots, surprising cut scenes combined with the sometimes magical and sometimes majestic music background bring drama and satisfaction to the viewers.
Spy x Family (Cour 2)
After returning in April, Spy x Family quickly occupied a slot in the list of the best anime of 2022. Cour 2 of the anime also returned in early October with about 13 episodes airing at 11 p.m. 7 weekly on Japanese stations.
As is known, Spy x Family is set in Europe during the Cold War period (1947-1991), with two fictional countries Ostania and Westalis symbolizing both sides of the East-West front line. The West's top spy, codenamed “Twilight”, is sent to the East to assassinate a dangerous element that threatens world peace.
To create a cover, agent Twilight plays the role of psychiatrist Loid Folger, adopting the psychic child Anya as his child and the notorious assassin hiding under the guise of administrative employee Yor Briar as his wife. In this next Cour, there will also be more acting space for the Forger family's dog, Bond, promising to create many funny and sad situations.
