The Detroit: Become Human manga will be drawn by artist Moto Sumida based on the story of Saruwatari Kazami and explore a completely new direction.
Detroit: Become Human will get a manga adaptation. Like the original game, the story that the manga wants to convey will be about android robots, but this will be a completely new story set in the city of Tokyo, Japan.
Titled Detroit: Become Human Tokyo Stories, this manga will only have a single main character instead of 3 main characters like in the game. It’s an android girl named Reina, a pop idol. In Japan, androids are not limited to errands or forced slavery like in the US, but the Japanese are also becoming increasingly disgruntled as androids are taking more and more jobs, making people it’s hard to find a job. This led to an “android revolution,” in the words of Famitsu.
