After months of anticipation and trailers, the new season finally premiered its first episode on December 5. Ufotable, Studio has been handling the production of the Demon Slayer anime adaptation since its premiere. , celebrated the occasion by featuring three new illustrations from the studio’s artists on Twitter. The first image depicts the main character of the series, Tanjiro Kamado, looking dignified, while the other two images highlight Tengen Uzui, who plays a key role in the events of the new story. Tengen Uzui returned to the anime in Episode 8 of the second season of the series. The 45-minute special is directed by Shinya Shimomura, who previously directed the new first episode of the Mugen Train series, and Kei Tsunematsu, who served as an assistant director on the Mugen Train series. Uzui is voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi in Japanese and Ray Chase in the English dub.
