As confirmed by Tom Cannon, Project L will be a completely free-to-play game. That is, maybe, it will work in the form of the current LoL and Valorant. Gamers will be able to play this game for free and Riot will ‘collect fees’ from selling ingame items or currency.

Currently, the game is in the process of perfecting the core mechanics and gameplay. The game will focus on building the generals in the game. At this time, Riot has also announced that Illaoi will be on the list of playable characters when the game launches. Not only that, Project L also promises to be a game with a rating system and an extremely strong community in the future.

“One of our goals is to remove as many barriers as possible so that everyone can experience Project L by making it completely free-to-play,” said Cannon. . “We want people to be able to play this game no matter where you are, your skills, or how much money you spend on video games.”

In addition to the information that the game will be free and include Illaoi, there are still no more clues about Project L at the moment. However, the launch time of Project L is very close and gamers can expect to hear a lot more in the upcoming announcements taking place at the end of the year.
