Kodoani.com – Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Thursday that the game Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 will launch on PC via Steam on May 31.
The game was originally scheduled to release on Steam last year but was delayed to 2023.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is the sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation and Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Next games.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released the game for free on PlayStation 4 in Japan in July 2018. The game then launched in English for PS4 in October 2019. The game launched for PlayStation 5 in January 2021.
Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 builds on the critically acclaimed land combat of its predecessor and takes the 6v6 action genre to the next level with brand new space battles. Infantry battles add a new dimension to combat in the game, giving pilots the ability to engage in combat alongside mechanics, place bombs on enemy bases, or request fire support to help decide the outcome of the battle. Additionally, customizable Mobile Suits give players the chance to upgrade their favorite machine through Evolution Points earned in battle.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy for PS5 and PS4 launched in November 2021 with the first episode. The second and third volumes premiered in November and December of that year, respectively. Each episode consists of five episodes. Single-player action game based on Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2.
